How much is shipping?
All of our shipping fees are based on weight of the product, the majority of our items weigh only 1 pound but some do weigh more. If you want to quickly see how much shipping will cost you for a specific item, add a product to your shopping cart and our system will display for you how much our standard shipping rates will be. Below is a scale of our rates:
Domestic Shipping Rates
- Standard shipping: $6.95 for the first pound, each additional pound is $0.75.
- 2 Day Air Shipping: $13.95 for the first pound, each additional pound is $2.
- Next Day Air Service: $24.95 for the first pound, each additional pound is $3.
How long will shipping take?
Most orders placed before 2pm Pacific time Mon-Fri will be shipping the very same business day, otherwise we normally ship all orders within 1-2 business days. Air orders are shipped within 1 business day. Our Standard shipping usually takes 3-7 business days for delivery. Please refer to the following map for details.
What method do you use for shipping?
Costume Kingdom will ship all U.S. packages via UPS as well as USPS, we will determine at time of shipment which will be more reliable and expeditious based on your individual order.
Do you ship to APO/FPO addresses?
Yes. We ship to U.S. military addresses worldwide via Priority Mail from the United States Postal Service. Please allow up to 14 business days for delivery to an APO/FPO address. Please note that there is no 2-Day air option for APO/FPO only Next Day Air at checkout, if an order has Next Day Air option for APO/FPO it will be shipped Express Mail through the United States Postal Service and may take up to one week for delivery.
International Shipping Policies and Pricing
International Service - $29.95 for the first pound, each additional pound is $4
Costumekingdom.com prides itself as being one of the few costume retailers that ships WORLDWIDE. We have worked hard with our shipping companies to try and deliver you the fastest and most affordable rates. At this time we are only able to offer one shipping method which is EXPRESS Service. Shipping to most countries is 5-7 business days with this service. We use both UPS as well as USPS for shipments.
Duties and Taxes for International customers
Costume Kingdom will not be responsible for any duties and or taxes you will incur (if any) for receiving the package. We prepay all shipping fees in advance so any fee that is imposed on you is a duty or tax that your country applies on the shipment. We will be including a copy of your invoice on the outside of the package as documentation for the customs house. Most taxes and duties equal 15-25% of the purchase price.
Refused or Undeliverable Shipments - If you decide to refuse any shipments or the package is undeliverable as addressed, you are responsible for the original shipping charges, any duties, taxes and/or customs charges that are incurred on the package on both the original and return shipments, and the cost of returning the package to Costume Kingdom. This amount will be subtracted from your merchandise refund. We enter in your shipping information electronically so there will be no address mistakes on our end, please make sure you check your information before submitting your order.
